Let me introduce myself– I am a retired teacher-librarian from Ontario Canada. I was in the teaching profession for over 30 years. Most of my teaching was at the elementary level. I did however, work in the secondary level as well. I also had the opportunity to work at the district level for eight years. My time there was as a library, literacy and social studies (history and geography) Resource Teacher. My qualifications include an B.A., B. ed, M.A. in adult learning, I also have added qualifications which include: Primary, Junior and Intermediate, Library – Specialist, Computers in the Classroom – Specialist, Reading Part 1, and Principalship Part 1 and 2.

I am very proud of being selected for the OSLA Teacher-Librarian of the Year Award in 2006. It is an award that is supported by peers in the province.

The joy of my life is my family. I am a mother of two daughters. Their families have given my husband and I five fabulous grandchildren. We all are dog lovers. I have three grand-puppies who add happiness with their antics and personalities.
